let’s go on an adventure…

I love to travel. Well, I love to adventure! To not just visit a place, but to experience a place. To journey through different timezones, cultures, and environments. From the bustling streets of New York, to unforgettable nights under the Aurora in Iceland, all the way to the peaceful waters of the Yulong River in Yangshuo, China. Travel has changed my life and I want to share that with you, and maybe show how it can change yours too.

Adventure Stories

Life is a great adventure! I’m really privileged to be able to travel experience some incredible things all around the world. Every place has it’s own story and every photo has meaning behind it. Adventure Stories are less about how to travel to the place and more about what to expect when you get there. I’ll be sharing a look behind the scenes of my trips. my and memories I’ve had the privilege of experiencing on my travels. From the urban jungle of New York to the wild mountains of rural China. These are the stories behind the photos.

Join me as I discover new territories and pursue a life of collecting special moments and beautiful memories, instead of things. Because that’s what Huper is all about.

Travel Guides

I feel like I spend more time looking for travel guides than actually travelling. Where to go, when to go, how to get there. I end up with hundreds of open tabs and still not feeling like I know what I'm doing or what the next step is. Along the way I've learnt to enjoy the spontaneous and embrace the adventure of not having all the information. Sometimes not having a clear plan is the best way to enjoy and have a unique time in the new places that I travel to. I just need to jot down a few need to knows, pack up, and go on an adventure!

That’s the gist of these Travel Guides. They have all the need to knows, all in one place, plus a few of my own tips and suggestions to help you make the most of your time in a new place. But they’re designed to leave room for your own ideas, hobbies and of course a bit of space for spontaneity. I believe that when you add all these things together you’ll be on track to having the experience of a lifetime, wherever you’re headed.

Coffee Guides

I love coffee. No, really, I LOVE coffee. I used to think I hated it, but I’ve learnt that I was just drinking bad coffee. These days I read books about coffee, watch videos about coffee and even listen to podcasts about coffee! I’m all in with this third wave stuff.

The thing is, beyond the incredible variety of flavours that you discover when you drink great coffee, there is an amazing process that it goes through to get from the farm to your cup. As I’ve learnt more about the journey that coffee goes on before we consume countless cups a day, I’ve found a real appreciation for these little beans that fuel the world. Now, one of the most important parts when I’m planning a new adventure is knowing where to stop for the best coffee. I spend ages researching and finding some of the most popular coffee shops in each place. From names you might recognise, like Blue Bottle in New York, to some smaller, local favourites, like Yunnan Arabica Coffee in Yangshuo. Coffee has become a big part of my travels and I’m excited to start sharing that with you!
